Vision

Manifest a regular mycelium of events intentionally spreading conscious dance, connection and movement to all interested souls.

Mission

Our mission is to create a conscious dance community by holding events to facilitate expression, embodiment and connection.

We will manifest events that are accessible, creative and authentic for like minded and curious spirits.

All in order to ultimately co-create a more harmonious way of living and bring light into the world through movement, creativity, consciousness and love.

AYA Ecstatic dance is a free form of dance that anyone can do, whatever their age, shape, gender, mobility or fitness level. No prior knowledge is needed, there are no steps to learn and nothing to get right.

Aya dance is movement medicine made up of short ‘flows’ bound to a theme, vibration, colour or harmony guided by the maestro through the medicine music system.

It allows you to connect your body to the music, and, if you like, to connect with others in non-verbal communication of common movement. Join us and get lost in the joy of movement, expression, connection and embodiment.

What does aya mean?

Aya has multiple meanings, it refers to a spiritual presence that inspires human consciousness. The meaning is connected with spirituality, goodness and creativity. In Celtic tradition, aya is both a greeting and a blessing and is an affirmation meaning 'yes'.

Aya is also an Arabic feminine name written as آية meaning "wonderful", "amazing", "miracle" or "verse". Aya (איה) in Hebrew means "to fly swiftly" or "bird". In Mongolian and Turkish it means "goodness", "music", and "melody".
